How do we improve our community?

Seek:

Seek out development aggressively, attend trade shows, network, hire a professional firm to map our community and identify spots hot for development.

Find:

Find common answers to common problems by attending Mayor's Association meetings with regularity Attending county commission work sessions and meetings with regularity to help network solutions and be on top of developing strategies in Jefferson County.

Make it a point to visit our law makers IN Montgomery as frequently as possible to help develop relationships that will benefit our community.

Lead:

Lead our community and our schools by having a regular presence know with the board of education and be proactive with our board members and Superintendent.

Lead our communities charge on the need of a new PVHS to serve our communities children Why Not Now. Our tax dollars are as good as anyone else's.

Listen to the various organized community organizations that make it their business to have a stake in our community. Great ideas can come from all over.

Vision:

Vision is one of the most important things a great leader can have.

See the future before it's here and understand how to prepare for the changes ahead, we should never be the last one on the plan.

Many of the things listed above will help us gain the insight to be in front of change.

Do we need our own Police Department? I placed a recommendation before council almost six years ago, I still believe this could be a good fit for Pinson and would put a committee together to research that very idea.
